What if you’re home could genuinely support the way you want to live? That’s the question at the heart of The Conscious Home: Design With Intention – a five day immersive interior design retreat held at Palm Court Retreats in Polperro, Cornwall, this October.

Led by interior designer Becky Harrison, this thoughtfully curated retreat, blends creative workshops, guided reflection and restorative coastal space to help you rethink your relationship with your home. Over four working days, you’ll explore colour psychology and emotional flow, biophilic design, designing for all the senses, and how to create spaces that nurture you rather than drain you. The retreat culminates in a hands-on mood boarding session where you’ll apply everything you’ve learned directly to your home– leaving with a personal mood board and a practical action plan you can actually use.

Woven around the workshops is time to breathe, soundbath, nourishing home-made meals, coastal walks, exclusive shopping event and a “meet the maker” and long evenings in good company. The setting is a beautifully styled 1930s colonial house with subtropical gardens, hot tub and the Polperro coastline on the doorstep – all has been chosen deliberately. There’s something about being beside the sea that helps you see things differently.

Becky spent 16 years in commercial project management before retraining in interior design having witnessed first hand the transformative power of spaces that truly support the people in them. She believes great design isn’t about trends – it’s about joy, function and well-being.
